The former president of the Republic calls " the corrézien humor ". Jacques Chirac assures that he " will not take part in the political debate ".

Jacques Chirac "regretted" on Sunday with AFP the interpretation(performance) of his comments according to which he would vote in 2012 " for Holland ", by explaining that it was a question " of corrézien humor between republicans who know for a long time ".

" I regret that it was able to be otherwise interpreted ", he pursued.  

Jacques Chirac was anxious to call back as him(it) " always said it " that he " would not take part in the political debate and in particular in that of the presidential election campaign ". " It is a choice and a principle in whom(which) I was held since the end of my money order(mandate) ", concluded the former president of the Republic.
